With their season on the line, the Boston Bruins will be without the services of center David Krejci for Game 6 against the Ottawa Senators on Sunday at TD Garden. Krejci suffered a lower-body injury in the first period and did not return in Game 5 Friday night at Canadian Tire Centre. He was on the receiving end of a knee-on-knee hit by the Senators' Chris Wideman.

The Orioles have hit 23 homers this season compared to the Red Sox's eight. Boston didn't seek retaliation for Manny Machado's high slide into Dustin Pedroia one night earlier.

How the Bruins can force Game 7

Marcus Smart on what resonated from Kevin Garnett's speech the Celtics played before their Game 3 win over the Bulls: "The fact when he said, ‘I'm a Celtics for life. That's what we do. We play, we gotta have dogs and we play like dogs and that's what Celtics is about.' That's big for us and that's what we needed to hear. We're all Celtics and we need some dogs."

In phone call today, John Farrell and Joe Torre had difference of opinion about slide rule as relates to Pedroia-Machado affair. Torre believes Pedroia didn't attempt to turn double play, therefore no interference call. Farrell contends Pedroia couldn't have attempted double play because of Machado slide.
