Danny Salazar's demotion to the bullpen is one way of dealing with his slump, but with Trevor Bauer and Josh Tomlin pitching even worse, the issue runs deeper. The Tribe's vaunted rotation is last in the AL in ERA (5.02) and tied for next to last in quality starts.

Since Max Scherzer joined the Nationals in 2015, they've had five 15-strikeout performances from their starters, including Stephen Strasburg's outing Saturday. The other major league teams have combined for nine in that span, and the only other team with more than one is the Indians (Corey Kluber and Carlos Carrasco have one each).

ESPN Stats and Information

Limited time between games doesn't faze LeBron James. The King's offensive numbers have fluctuated very little between one, two, or three or more days of rest this season.
