Cavs interest in Derrick Rose

Sources say Derrick Rose "just wants to play ball," so it appears whichever team can sell its atmosphere, defined role will have advantage.

If the Cavaliers add Derrick Rose, it would give Cleveland two players who've won MVP: Rose and LeBron James. The Warriors also have two (Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry). The other 28 NBA teams have two combined (Russell Westbrook in OKC, Dirk Nowitzki in Dallas).

Barrett makes Davey O'Brien watch list

Ohio State QB J.T. Barrett has been named to the 2017 Davey O'Brien Award watch list. This year's list was selected based on player performance during the previous year and expectations heading into the 2017 college football season. Barrett is a two-time semifinalist for the award (2014, 2016).
