The lights that ring Madison Square Garden are lit in the colors of the four teams playing here tonight. They normally are orange and blue on nights the Knicks play, and red, white and blue when the Rangers play inside.

Bell has started 72 games in his career with most of them coming at right tackle. Free informed the Cowboys before free agency began that he intended to retire.

Former Cal QB Davis Webb has "12-15 more" meetings with NFL teams scheduled. He wouldn't elaborate on details, but when asked by a local Bay Area reporter, he did indicate that San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan has been in contact. Webb, whose draft stock has been rising, plans to watch the NFL Draft at his Dallas area home with former teammates from both Cal and Texas Tech. "It'll be an interesting mix," he said.
