Kentucky SR F Derek Willis said defending the pick-and-roll more intensely with J.J Frazier and Yante Maten was a big reason the Wildcats held the duo to a combined 13 points today

Kentucky beats Georgia 71-60 in SEC quarterfinals. The ViewFromVegas is the Wildcats did NOT cover after closing as 11.5-point favorites (though bettors who took Kentucky -10 on the opening line got the cover). For those who bet it at Kentucky -11/Georgia +11 took a push.

Edward Aschoff ESPN Staff Writer

Kentucky seemed like it was in control of this game from the start and it won handily without freshman star Malik Monk being much of an offensive factor. He had just 2 pts on 1 of 7 shooting in 26 minutes. Isaiah Briscoe De'Aaron Fox both getting 20 points and Edrice Adebayo grabbing 13 certainly helped ease Monk's funk.

Edward Aschoff ESPN Staff Writer

With Kentucky's 71-60 win over Georgia, the Wildcats advance to the SEC tournament semifinals tomorrow and have now won nine straight over the Bulldogs. Kentucky played some of its best defense of the season, forcing Georgia to shoot just 33% (19 of 57) from the field, the third-lowest percentage by a Kentucky opponent this season. Kentucky also capitalized with 18 pts off 13 Georgia TOs.
