Athletics rookie Boog Powell hit his first career home run Monday -- and of course, he hit it in Baltimore just one day before he was to meet his namesake, the Orioles' legendary former first baseman.

Slam caps Machado's three-HR night

O's Machado caps 3-HR night with walk-off slam

Manny Machado capped a three-homer night with a grand slam in the bottom of the ninth inning, and the Baltimore Orioles rallied past the Los Angeles Angels 9-7 on Friday night in a game that featured 10 home runs.

The Angels are the second team in MLB history to give up three walk-off grand slams in a single season, joining the 1963 Cubs. All three grand slams have come since July 25.
