Cespedes (hamstring) begins rehab in minors

Mets slugger Yoenis Cespedes, who has been on the disabled list since April 28, went 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored as he began his minor league rehab assignment Friday for Class A St. Lucie.

Collins clarifies Mets' new stance on injury talk

Terry Collins said the Mets are going to try to avoid predicting publicly when players will return from injuries because "no one really knows when anybody's going to be ready" while they're recovering and rehabbing.

Michael Conforto homered twice and had a career-high four RBI, including three on two hits during the Mets' biggest first inning in 13 years, and Matt Harvey won his first home start since getting suspended in a 9-3 win Tuesday over the San Diego Padres.
