LeBron leading the way

LeBron James scored 39 points and pulled down 14 boards in the Cavs' 118-113 victory over the Clippers on Friday. That marked the second time in his 15-year career that he's posted that many points and rebounds in a regular-season game. James has reached those marks five times in playoff games, including on three separate occasions in the NBA Finals. (Elias)

Iman Shumpert, who sat out the second half Friday vs LAC because of discomfort in his left knee, is out 5-7 days with a left knee effusion, per the Cavs. He was examined Saturday at the Cleveland Clinic. Cleveland's point guard woes continue. Jose Calderon, who started the second half against the Clippers, will likely be leaned on, along with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

LeBron: Focused on Cavs' streak, not Celtics

The Cavaliers overcame a 15-point deficit to beat the Clippers on Friday and extend their win streak to four games. LeBron James said they must continue to play well and not worry about how teams such as the Eastern Conference-leading Celtics are doing.

Doc Rivers on the difference between 23-year-old and (soon to be) 33-year-old LeBron James: "I don't see a difference except for he's smarter. I'm amazed, really. We were laughing about it, it wasn't so funny to us watching film. Most players when they get to his age are smart enough now they see everything. But usually when they get to that age, they're too old to do anything about it. Kevin McHale had that comment. ‘If I had the knowledge now but my body at 22, I would have been the greatest player of all time.' LeBron has the knowledge of all those years and he's still top two, three athletic in the league. He has both going for him. He can beat you with his brain, he can beat you with his power. It's a daunting task when you watch him on film."
