More reason for the Wizards to get Marcin Gortat more involved offensively: the Hawks outscored the Wizards, 60-34, in points in the paint in Game 3 and by 44-30 in Game 4 per ESPN Stats and Info. The team that has outscored their opponent in points in the paint has won three of the four games in this series.

Markieff Morris (9 points) must rebound from three foul-plagued games in a row. Since going off for 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks in Game 1, Morris has totaled 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks in the last three games. Marcin Gortat was a monster on the boards with 18 rebounds but it might help Washington if it can find a way to get Gortat (2 points) more involved offensively on pick and rolls again.

Paul Millsap is doing it all for the Hawks. He grabbed an offensive rebound, was fouled and threw the ball up and in while falling down before converting the three-point play. He then screened two Wizards at once to free up Dennis Schroder for a 3. Millsap has 18 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds so far.

Kent Bazemore is picking up the play-making slack with Dennis Schroder saddled with three fouls. Bazemore has five assists, including a thunderous alley-oop to Dwight Howard. Howard is finally making his presence felt in this series with 13 points and 8 rebounds. He's not only active on the glass but he's muscling the Wizards in the paint, something Paul Millsap will surely welcome. Now Marcin Gortat has to deal with Howard and Millsap on the glass.

Mike Budenholzer's point guards are in foul trouble. Dennis Schroder and Jose Calderon have three personal fouls midway through the second quarter. The Hawks have had issues with solid backup point guard play so Bud will keep Calderon in with Schroder on the bench.
