The Bengals are signing CB Bene' Benwikere to a one-year deal, according to his agent Bardia Ghahremani. He chose the Bengals over several teams after visiting yesterday. He could be a CB that plays either outside or inside and compete for a starting spot with the secondary situation in-flux. Tom Pelissero first reported the news.

Cornerbacks rarely continue to play at a high level past their mid-30s, and Jones, who was recently arrested, has a history of off-the-field issues and could fall under the league's personal conduct policy, potentially resulting in a suspension this season.
