Broncos are meeting with former Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon today. Mixon was denied an invitation to the NFL's scouting combine because he had entered a guilty plea to domestic violence charges -- he had a suspended sentence and community service. Mixon was seen on video of the incident -- which took place in 2014 in Norman, Okla. -- punching a woman in the face. Mixon visited the Cincinnati Bengals last week and several teams met with him at the school's pro day. Some talent evaluators in the league have said privately in recent weeks they wouldn't consider drafting, or signing, Mixon though he may have a first- or second-round grade as a player.
