Jaguars owner Shad Khan was at this morning's meeting between owners and players. He thinks the dialogue on issues important to players will lead to an end to the anthem controversy eventually: "I think it's a natural evolution and will get back to where it was before this controversy started," Khan said "Our players have all been standing. It's not a big deal do us; I think players are deciding it's the right thing to do - stand for the national anthem."

Jaguars coach Doug Marrone says he still has confidence in K Jason Myers -- for now. Myers missed two 54-yard field goal attempts, including one with 1:07 to play that could have cut the Rams' lead to seven points."My whole thing was make the field goal, get the onside kick, which he worked on a ton and have enough time to go out there and score," Marrone said. "So my confidence in him at that point was fine. Obviously we'll need to see where he's at.” Myers was a little upset after the game. "They didn't through the uprights today," he said. "You're not going to get anything out of me, dude."
