Pete Carroll on Tramaine Brock's alleged domestic violence incident: "What I would say to you is I don't know how anybody could have done a more extensive look into this. John [Schneider] started this quite some time ago and followed it throughout to make sure we knew exactly what was going on. I'm not going to go into particulars for you, but we feel assured that we have done all of the homework that can be done and done a little bit past that and then maybe past that. ...We've really done our work here and feel that we're in a good place with him." Asked if the process included talking to the alleged victim, Carroll said, "I'm not going to go into that, ok. There's a million questions you could ask me about that. We've done everything that you could do. All I can tell you is it's been a comprehensive look into it, and I feel great telling you that. There's too many aspects of it to go ahead and talk to you about it, specifically."

Bennett backed by brother Martellus, Baldwin

Michael Bennett received support from his brother, Martellus, and Seahawks teammate Doug Baldwin on Tuesday, two days after the defensive end chose to sit during the national anthem.

Pete Carroll said that "without question" Seahawks WR Paul Richardson will be ready for the regular season. "To look that good today, if we do it right and don't take him too far too fast, he'll be in great shape." Richardson suffered an AC sprain in his right shoulder Sunday vs. the Chargers. Meanwhile, LB K.J. Wright was absent at Tuesday's practice because of a knee issue. "He's got a little process that we're going through to help his knee. He just has something that's been nagging. So he's out of town working on that this week."

Doug Baldwin was asked if he's concerned about a segment of fans being turned off by players sitting for the national anthem.

Sheil Kapadia ESPN Writer

Doug Baldwin said he wholeheartedly supports Michael Bennett and is thinking about joining him and sitting during the National Anthem. Pete Carroll said he supports Bennett's message but thinks everyone should stand.
