49ers CEO Jed York says on Twitter that former 49ers fullback Tom Rathman will be the 2017 inductee into the Edward J. DeBartolo Sr. 49ers Hall of Fame. "No one epitomizes being a 49er more than Tom Rathman," York wrote. "So happy for him to take his place in the 49ers HoF." Rathman also had two lengthy stints on the Niners coaching staff.

Between visits & workouts, Toledo RB Kareem Hunt met with Detroit, New England, San Francisco, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Tennessee, Carolina and the New York Jets. Hunt is a possible Day 2 pick at running back. Hunt had 262 carries for 1,475 yards and 10 touchdowns with 41 catches and 403 receiving yards last season.
