Legendary pro wrestling manager, commentator and personality Bobby "The Brain" Heenan died on Sunday. In a career that spanned five decades, Heenan played an integral part during the WWF's explosion into popular culture in the 1980s, and worked for almost every major North American promotion during that time. Heenan managed more than 50 different wrestlers, including Ric Flair, Andre the Giant, Baron von Raschke, Curt Hennig and the Brainbusters, among many others. On commentary, he was most famously paired with Gorilla Monsoon. Heenan was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004.

Several of the auctions, which will be open for the next two weeks, have already drawn a flurry of bids and dizzying sums. AJ Styles' gold elbow pad is up to $7,800, with Alexa Bliss' gloves ($1,009) and a New Day signed trombone ($410) among some of the biggest early bids.

During Thursday's NXT TV tapings, Asuka relinquished the NXT women's championship due to injury after more than 500 days as champion. On Monday, WWE.com reported that Asuka had suffered a broken collarbone during her match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III. Asuka defeated Bayley for the NXT women's title at NXT TakeOver: Dallas on April 1, 2016. At the time of her giving up the title, Asuka had held her championship longer than the combined reigns of every other active champion in the WWE and NXT.
