What temperatures will trigger on the Home Disaster Sensor?
- Home disaster Sensor can provide alerting for detection of water (Flood), extreme low temperature (Freeze), and extreme high temperature (Overheat)
- Tri-mode environmental sensing:
- Flood/Moisture sensor – can be mounted at any height off the ground
- Freeze – for furnace failure = room temperature drops below 45F
- Overheat – for furnace runaway or air conditioning failure = room temperature rises above 100F
- It can be used as just a flood, just a freeze, or just a overheat, or any combination, or all three
- Each sensor reports as an independent zone to the panel
